Agency Confirms Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee’s Breakup after Han So-hee’s Cryptic Post
On March 30th, Han So-hee uploaded a photo to her blog without any captions. The photo is Nicole Kidman on the day she successfully divorced Tom Cruise. It’s popular as the ‘Nicole Kidman divorce meme,’ showing Nicole Kidman looking relieved after signing divorce papers.
With this photo, speculation arose that Han So-hee was hinting at her breakup with Ryu Jun-yeol.
Just 10 minutes after the news spread in the Korean media, Ryu Jun-yeol’s agency, C-JES Entertainment, quickly confirmed the couple’s breakup.
The day before, on March 29th, Han So-hee posted a lengthy post on her Instagram starting with “I’m tired of any more speculation.”
This post stirred controversy as it took aim at Ryu Jun-yeol’s ex-girlfriend Hyeri and mentioned Ryu Jun-yeol’s silence. Han So-hee deleted the post after about 10 minutes.
Ryu Jun-yeol and Hyeri publicly started dating in 2017 and officially announced their breakup in November last year. Han So-hee and Ryu Jun-yeol met at a photo exhibition last November and began dating earlier this year.
